Venue hire
Y Dolydd – Llanfyllin Workhouse can be hired for your private event. We have three indoor venue/meeting rooms, a private exhibition/gallery space, a fully licensed bar, a 20-bed bunkhouse and 6.5 acres of beautiful grounds and gardens to explore and enjoy, making us the perfect site for your wedding, private party, festival, conference or meeting.
All spaces are available to hire on varied terms and are negotiable depending on duration and type of event. Below is a rough guide.
Short-Term/Daytime Room Hire
- Prices range from £10 – £12 per hour.
Evening Room Hire
- Prices range from £100 – £250 for 6pm – 3am.
The Venue
- Seated capacity 80
- Room measurements: 15.5 m x 5.5 m
The Gallery (ground floor)
- Can be hired on a short or long-term basis for exhibitions.
- Seated capacity 40
- Room measurements: 10.1 m x 4.9 m
The Bob Guy Gallery (upstairs)
- Can be hired for exhibitions, small events, talks, etc.
- Seated capacity 40
- Room measurements: 10.1 m x 4.9 m
Garden/Courtyards
- The garden and courtyards are free to use alongside booking any other area.
Whole Site
- For the larger event or private party the whole site can be hired for a weekend.
Bar
- If you require a bar, we will provide this with staff.
Bunkhouse
- The 20-bed bunkhouse is available to be block booked or on an individual basis.
- Camping and Campervan parking.
There is a field suitable for camping and space for campervan parking by arrangement.
Meadows Café
The cafe, which is situated between The Venue and the Gallery Downstairs, may be able to offer its services. Please bear in mind that the Workhouse has many workshops, a History Centre and a Café open to the public. During any event some, or all, of these will be in operation.
