The Bunkhouse

A Unique Heritage Experience

Stay at The Workhouse

The well-equipped bunkhouse at Y Dolydd Llanfyllin Workhouse offers a unique holiday experience. Stay in one of the last remaining Victorian workhouses still open to the public. Set in six acres of beautifully peaceful grounds, Y Dolydd, is also a venue and is available for exclusive hire for your wedding, private party, conference or meeting.

The Workhouse is set in the unspoilt and largely undiscovered countryside of the Cain Valley, in the heart of the Welsh Border Country.  There’s easy access to a network of quiet country lanes and footpaths, many offering glorious views.
